The Perfect Barn Venue in Eden Prairie
The team at Green Acres is here to help ensure expectations are exceeded and help make planning smooth. Our all-inclusive package is designed to create the highest level of service, and the lowest level of stress for our clients! The venue, catering, & facilities manager are at each event to help ensure your event is executed flawlessly. After your event has wrapped up, all you need to worry about is removing your personal belongings and décor – and we’ll handle the rest, including clean-up.

Green Acres can accommodate groups up to 299 for events on both levels or up to 225 for seated dinners when utilizing the upper level Great Room Loft.

The site is available for 12 hours Friday – Sunday, latest opening at 12:00 p.m. for setup the day of the event and closing at 12:00 a.m. This rental period can be adjusted to an earlier time period at no extra charge. Additional time is available at an hourly rate. Clean-up must be completed within the rental period and all guests/vendors must vacate the property within one hour before the end of the rental period.

The Upper Level
Great Room Loft
This is where the magic happens. This dramatic 3,100 square foot space is perfect for wedding ceremonies, receptions, formal dining, business meetings, presentations, bands, DJs, music, and dancing. Crystal and candlelight chandeliers highlight the soaring Gothic Arch shaped roof of aged timbers and beautiful hardwood floors. Massive windows and doors bring in a natural light with serene views of nature and Staring Lake Park. Green Acres has all the trappings of a modern event center with heat, air conditioning, a handicap accessible elevator, high tech AV system for videos and presentations, a wireless microphone, theatrical lighting, and a Bose surround system. These amenities help bring every event to life!
The Lower Level
Mingling Space
The lower level of the barn is the perfect space for guests to enjoy cocktail hour. This space features lounge furniture, a bar for guests to grab a drink after the ceremony and has easy access to our outdoor entertainment space! The lower level of the barn is perfect for mingling while we transform the Great Room Loft into the reception space of your dreams! This 3,100 square foot space has plenty of space to accommodate groups of all sizes comfortably. With the surround sound also flowing through the lower level, the ambiance of your event is sure to stay fully in-tact between ceremony and reception.

Hospitality Suite
The Cottage
INTRODUCING ✨The Cottage ✨. This space was newly finished in 2023. The Cottage is your comfortable, quiet sanctuary for your wedding party to relax and prepare in style. This stunning hospitality suite is a stand-alone chalet, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the big day. The space offers four salon-style getting-ready stations, chic seating with velvet couches, a room divider for dressing, heat, air-conditioning, and a charming walk-out porch with two bistro sets. The Cottage is the picture-perfect suite to prepare for your wedding day.
Hospitality Suite
The Silo
Our lower level also includes our private hospitality suite. The silo is the perfect space for finishing touches while getting ready, hiding before the ceremony, and signing your marriage certificate after the deed is done! This VIP space boasts chandeliers to match the atmosphere of the Great Room Loft, a gorgeous high ceiling, a vanity mirror, a whiskey barrel and a whimsical collection of décor.


Two Beautiful
Ceremony Locations
If you choose to have your wedding ceremony on-site, we are happy to offer two different and beautiful ceremony locations! The first is our Great Room Loft, and the second is our outdoor location near Staring Lake Park. This location allows you to have your dream outdoor ceremony underneath a canopy of trees. We know Minnesota weather can be unpredictable, which is why we can easily shift the ceremony indoors in the event of poor weather conditions on your big day!
The Great
Outdoors
Celebrate outdoors in Staring Lake Park with its lush trees and trails! The park provides a beautiful, picturesque backdrop for event photos. Our custom-built wood burning four-sided brick fireplace invites your guests to sit down and enjoy the crackling fire in the evening. Old fashioned pavers, classic John Deere tractors, a horse drawn carriage, and a custom-built hayride with cow benches add whimsical fun. Add a s’mores package to roast marshmallows over the Cowboy Cauldron’s open fire pit! In the evening, the barn glows with exterior theatrical lighting in a variety of color options that you can choose from!

On-site
Parking Lot
We are proud to offer a well-lit on-site parking lot with space for up to 60 vehicles. Events with more than 60 vehicles or 120 guests will require a valet or shuttle service at the client’s expense. Overflow parking is available through a valet or shuttle service at Elliot Aviation and Hummingbird Aviation. We do not allow overnight parking on-site. One of our favorite hotels, the Sonesta Select, partners with Renee’s Limousines and offers Green Acres clients a tiered system where clients can get a discount on their limo rentals depending on how many rooms are booked at the hotel! We see many couples use this route to safely transport their guests. We also know that Uptown Valet offers a very affordable price!
